Visual identity design for Ashley Young, a Kingston-based lifestyle photographer. Ashley is a genuine and contentious photographer, who by nature helps her clients overcome their insecurities to let their beauty (i.e. “inner light”) shine through. Ashley doesn’t digitally retouch people’s “flaws”, she shines light on, and celebrates them! This message of genuineness and “inner light” is conveyed through the strategic use of shape (i.e. the “A” brandmark design), colour, typography, and the tone of photography across all branding applications.
